Stand-up Forklift Driver/Warehouse

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and transport materials, ensuring the secure and efficient handling of goods.

• Material Handling: Perform material handling tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, staging materials for production, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

• Safety First: Adhere to strict safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your team. Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and follow safety guidelines at all times.

• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate personnel.

• Organization: Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and free from obstacles, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet production schedules, coordinate material flow, and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.

• Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality control efforts by handling materials with care to prevent damage or defects.

• Efficiency: Strive for operational excellence by optimizing material handling processes and minimizing downtime.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Valid stand-up forklift certification.

• Experience: Previous experience as a stand-up forklift operator and material handler is preferred.

• Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to workplace safety and a clear understanding of safety protocols.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

• Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues.

• Detail-Oriented: Attentive to accuracy and detail in material handling and inventory management.
