Project Coordinator

TA Staffing is looking for a Warehouse Project Coordinator that plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Client's warehouse, promoting a safe and customer-focused environment. This position involves various responsibilities aimed at improving performance, maintaining quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive Understanding: Demonstrate a complete understanding of the CVP (Customer Value Package) to provide top-notch service to our customers.

• Safety Management: Prioritize safety, conducting incident investigations, and correcting substandard acts or conditions to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

• Customer Focus: Strive to meet customer needs and resolve problems, consistently delivering exceptional customer service. Maintain a strong understanding of customer service best practices.

• Knowledge Sharing: Retain in-depth knowledge of client's services and benefits and effectively convey this information to customers.

• Policy and Procedure Compliance: Ensure a complete understanding of all company policies and procedures and lead by example.

• Team Management: Lead and manage the team to enhance their performance and development in a high-paced, 24-hour, 3-shift operation environment.

• Data Transfer: Participate in daily data transfer to customers and liaise with Company Customer Representative for relevant customers.

• Shipping and Receiving: Oversee shipping and receiving operations to meet customer requirements.

• Continuous Improvement: Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement, consistently seeking ways to enhance processes.

• Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations, ensuring team members complete workplace inspections and receive safety talks and information. Recognize and commend team members for job performance, including health and safety performance.

• Training and Orientation: Participate in all training requirements for team members, both on-the-job and health and safety training. Ensure all team members receive proper orientations and training.

• Positive Work Culture: Promote a positive work culture and team atmosphere to boost morale and productivity.

• Additional Duties: Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Direct Responsibilities:

• Performance Appraisals: Responsible for conducting performance appraisals for Supervisors and ensuring their Supervisors complete Performance Reviews for Lead Inspectors and Inspectors in a timely manner.

• Hiring and Orientation: Participate in the hiring and orientation of new employees to integrate them into the team effectively.

• Key Performance Indicators: Ensure the team meets all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the divisional Scorecard.

• Continuous Improvement: Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvements by proactively looking for ways to enhance processes.

• Training Coordination: Assess development needs and coordinate training as required to enhance team skills.

• Process Audits: Conduct Layer Process Audits (LPA) as scheduled, root cause non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.

• Travel Plans: Assist in organizing necessary travel plans for off-site team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Quality Training: Provide and/or assist in the training of staff

• Sort Activities: Review and approve all sort activities in Vantage to maintain quality standards.

• Customer Information: Gather and log all new customer information accurately and efficiently in Vantage. Ensure correct customer/contract information is provided to the appropriate department for billing, including all authorizations and Customer POs.

• Procurement: Manage the procurement of tools and supplies directly related to work assignments.

• Supervision and Discipline: Manage Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Inspectors, ensuring discipline and adherence to general rules and regulations.
