Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
1-year consistent work experience
Entry-level role: no experience required, but 3+ months in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Ability to read and follow diagrams and written instructions
Comfortable lifting/moving parts and working on your feet all shift
Team player with reliable attendance
Job Responsibilities:
Mechanical assembly of forklifts using hand and power tools
assemble low mix/high volume sub-assembly components from diagrams and instructions
Follow detailed step-by-step diagrams or work instructions
Perform quality checks on your work and make necessary adjustments
Use computers to track part inventory and alert team leaders of shortages
Stack/move materials using proper safety procedures – may use overhead cranes or lift trucks
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and support the company’s 5S program
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen)
May perform teardown, cleaning, and reassembly of returned components
Maintain regular, reliable attendance and work collaboratively with your team
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with mandatory overtime to include Saturday
Pay:
$19.26 per hour
Work Environment:
This position is based in a manufacturing facility. You’ll be standing for long periods and manually handling parts up to 50 lbs.
