Batcher

Staff Management Group is seeking a Batcher for our client in Hillside, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 3rd Shift: 10PM - 6:30AM
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate:

• $20 / hour 

Job Summary:

The Batcher will be responsible for accurately pre-weighing ingredients, performing food product testing, and maintaining regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires physical strength, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, sanitation, and food quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pre-weigh ingredients for each batch
• Complete batching sheets
• Return partial and unused ingredients to the ingredient cage
• Pull water samples from mixing and syrup tanks for tasting
• Follow GMPs and Food Safety Guidelines
• Follow Safety Rules in Manufacturing Facility
• Testing of food products and raw materials
• Following strict regulatory and safety guidelines
• Communicate professionally with the batching team as well as others.
• Assist the team as needed with sanitation, inventory, and housekeeping

Job Requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Able to Work in Team-Oriented Environment
• Attention to detail, quality mindset, and product flow.
• Having integrity, promptness, and a technical aptitude

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 25 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
• Must be able to lift 75 to 100 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to loud noises in our production facility.
