Inventory Control Clerk

Staff Management Group is seeking a Inventory Control Clerk for our client in Somerset, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM
• Subject to change in September due to warehouse expansion

Pay Rate:

• $22.50 / hour 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual (English & Spanish) Inventory Control Clerk with strong computer skills to support our warehouse operations. This role requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Support all inventory-related functions to ensure accurate handling and tracking of inventory
• Use RF scanners, warehouse management system (Snapfulfill), and material handling equipment on the warehouse floor
• Perform accurate cycle counts, audits, and physical verification of product quantity and quality
• Execute inventory adjustments to add, modify, or delete inventory in the WMS
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; conduct root cause analysis
• Research mispicked or missing product and recommend improvements to reduce future errors
• Produce required weekly/monthly reports
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies; ensure safe use of all tools and equipment
• Other duties as assigned by leadership

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
• Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and Gmail
• 1–2 years of inventory or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to train others and follow system-directed processes
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Hazmat certified or able to obtain certification within 90 days
