Warehouse Checker

Staff Management Group is seeking a Warehouse Outbound Checker for our client in Edison, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7AM - 4PM or...
• 2nd Shift: 3PM - 11PM
• Plus Overtime
• Must be available for two shifts during Peak Season, which typically runs from July through December.

Pay Rate:

• $17 / hour during the first 3 months
• $18 / hour after the first 3 months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, bilingual, and detail-oriented Warehouse Outbound Checker to join our logistics team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of outbound shipments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise outbound forklift drivers to ensure orders are picked according to the shipping sequence
• Check and verify pallet counts and carton quantities at the outbound docks
• Accurately record and report outbound shipment information
• Coordinate and communicate closely with the outbound office team
• Ensure all outbound orders are handled with accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency

Job Requirements:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• Hardworking and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication and on-site coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or outbound logistics is a plus
• Basic computer or scanner operation skills preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderately weight items during shifts
• Can drive the propane forklift is a plus
