Shipping Associate

Shipping Associate - South Bend, IN

1st Shift, 8am to 4:30pm 

M-F, some overtime may be required on weekends

$15/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily LTL Shipments, packages, drop shipments
• Stock and Pull Inventory
• Working knowledge of computers for daily BOL update to Excel Documents
• Confirm boxed orders match customer, product and shipping method
• Process completed orders based on priority
• Secure multiple packages with zip machine to ensure proper bulk shipping dimensions
• Box orders requiring special packaging

Requirements:

• Effective prioritization and multitasking
• Attention to Detail
• High School Diploma
• Ability to work at fast pace
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math and tape measurements
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel.
• Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
• Must meet background & drug screening requirements prior to hire
