Welder

Welder - Elkhart, IN

1st Shift 5am-3:30pm Mon-Thurs $19/hr.

Job Duties: 

• Perform MIG welding operations on various metals.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding symbols.
• Inspect welded components to ensure structural quality and conformity to specifications.
• Operate grinders, cutters, and other tools to prepare metal for welding.
• Maintain equipment and work area in clean, safe condition.
• Comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures.

 Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use hands to finger, handle, and feel materials and tools.
• Specific vision abilities required include: Close vision, Color vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, Ability to adjust and focus
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow work instructions
• Ability to talk, read, and hear in a work environment
