Plastic Extrusion Operator - Elkhart, IN

2^nd Shift 3:00pm-1:00am

$16-$18 Based on experience

Job Duties: 

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot plastic extrusion equipment.
• Monitor machine parameters and adjust settings for optimal performance.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams for machine setup.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
• Document production data and report any issues or deviations.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and or move up to 25+lbs. throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel.
• Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
