Drafting/CAD Technician - Mishawaka, IN - Direct Hire

8:00 am - 6:00 pm, $26-29/hr.

Job Duties:

• A BIM Production & Technology Manager plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology and processes within a company.
• Manage BIM Standards: Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards and protocols across all projects.
• Project Coordination: Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring they meet project requirements and standards.
• Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to staff and project teams on BIM software and tools, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Workflow Processes: Create and implement BIM documentation and workflow processes to streamline project execution.
• Software Management: Manage BIM software suites, ensuring updates, patches, and fixes are applied as necessary.
• Collaboration: Act as the intermediary between designers, clients, architects, and contractors to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Quality Control: Review and manage models for conformance with BIM protocols and standards.
• Technology Strategy: Deliver the business’s technology strategy and promote the benefits of digital ways of working.
• Reporting: Produce monthly reports for senior managers to identify and measure BIM implementation progress.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of BIM coordinators and other staff, supporting their career development.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
• Associates degree
