Mold Service & Process Technician

Mold Service Tech & Plastic Processing Tech - Goshen, IN

2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 3:00p-11:30P (OT may be required)

3rd Shift; Sun-Thurs 11:00p-7:30a (OT may be required)

Process Technicians: $26-$28 per hour

Mold Set-Up: $22-$23 per hour

Job Duties:

• Applicants will need to have sit down forklift experience and will need to have work history with overhead lift/cranes. 
• Perform mold service activities – such as rigging and hoist use, lockout, disassemble, clean and assembly molds, 
• Perform connections, use mold set-up sheets; know mold and machine components. 
• Will train for and assist in mold set-ups – learn how to perform set-ups, including adjustments of systems, switches, safeties, and pressures.
• Properly connect power, knockout and core sequence; perform basic set-ups with supervision. 
• Prepares molds and components for service; learns how to set up molds in injection molding machines. 
• Performs mold service activities – such as rigging and hoist use, lockout, disassemble, clean and assembly molds, perform connections, use mold set-up sheets; know mold and machine components.
• Trains and assist in mold set-ups – learn how to perform set-ups, including adjustments of systems, switches, safeties, and pressures; properly connect power, knockout and core sequence; perform basic set-ups with supervision.

Requirements: 

• Ability to lift and or move up to 50 lbs throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel.
• Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
• Must have 1 year of continuous plastic molding experience.
