Glue Assembler

Glue Assembly- Elkhart, IN  

1^stShift 5:00am-2:30pm $14.50/hr. 

2^ndShift 4:00pm-2:30am $14.50/hr. 

Job Duties: 

• Operate equipment with a high degree of safety in mind.
• Ensure levels of high quality in all work performed.
• Ensure that all components and assembled parts are properly labeled with complete information.
• Deliver scheduled work on time and complete to next workstation.
• Maximize material yield in all work performed.  Ensure that adhesive is flowing from equipment in proper volume and that substrate is being targeted and hit with adhesive.  Minimize overspray.  
• Assemble only what is ordered per the cut sheets.
• Maintain a clean and clutter free work area at all times.  
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of spray equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Requirements: 

• Previous Glue Assembly experience. 
• Good attendance and job longevity required.
• Ability to lift and or move up to 25+lbs. throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel.
• Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
• Must be able to read numbers and compute basic math calculations
• Must be able to read a tape measure Basic organizational skills
