Classroom Assistant

Classroom Assistant – Indianapolis Area

Job Duties:

• In this role, you will assist with instructional tasks, interact with children, complete documentation, and participate in home visits
• Assist with the planning and implementation of lesson plans
• Use developmentally appropriate techniques to interact with children individually or in groups
• Be flexible and demonstrate good time/project management
• Collaborate and effectively facilitate change
• Communicate openly and effectively
  

Requirements: 

• Ability to lift and or move up to 50+ lbs throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel.
• Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• To ensure compliance, FDS is unable to employ individuals with any Felonies or Misdemeanors
