SmartTalent is hiring for an experienced temp to hire Forklift Driver in Shelton, WA.
This driver will be working in Shipping and Receiving Department. This driving will be driving packaged loads of lumber onto and off of commercial trucks.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position requires long hours and occasional overtime on Fridays to meet business requirements.
The pay for this position is $15.00 an hour as a temp and once hired on (based on performance) the pay will move to $16.50.

Job Details:

Staging & loading shipments.
-
Preparing required paperwork supporting the shipment of chemically treated and primed wood products for residential and commercial construction projects.

Break down, re-stack and re-wrap lumber orders as required.

Other duties and tasks assigned.

Duties and responsibilities may change due to need of the business.
Requirements:

A minimum of 3-5 years of forklift experience

Experience of knowledge of lumber preferred.

Experience of loading and unloading trucks is required.

Ability to operate a computer and utilize Microsoft Office, excel, and outlook required.

The qualified candidate must have excellent interpersonal written/verbal. Communication skills Physical capacity to lift 50+ pounds on a semi-regular basis.

Ability to work both independently and as a member of a fast-paced team.
