Job Title: Senior Construction Manager
Location: Monterey, CA
Pay: $95,000–$120,000/year
About the job:
The Senior Construction Manager will lead residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role combines field leadership with project coordination to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and to spec.
We're looking for someone who:

Has 10+ years of hands-on experience managing residential and commercial construction

Understands construction methods, materials, and industry best practices

Can lead multiple projects and teams simultaneously

Communicates clearly and collaborates well with all stakeholders

Solves problems proactively and keeps projects moving forward

Is proficient in tools like Procore, Buildertrend, or MS Project

Knows local codes, permitting, and safety regulations

Holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)

Has a valid driver’s license and can travel to job sites as needed
What you'll do:

Manage all phases of construction from pre-construction to closeout

Build schedules, budgets, and site plans to ensure project delivery

Oversee subcontractors and field work to ensure quality and safety

Resolve construction issues alongside architects, engineers, and inspectors

Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specs

Monitor progress and report updates, risks, and next steps

Enforce safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance

Lead field teams with technical guidance and support

Drive continuous improvement across job sites

Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams
