About the job:
The Operations Manager will lead daily operations across warehouse, shipping, and delivery functions while managing a team of 20–40 employees. This role ensures efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction, while supporting company goals through strategic planning and execution.

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree (Business or Engineering preferred)

• Has 5+ years of leadership experience in operations or a related field

• Excels at leading, training, and managing teams

• Communicates effectively and manages time well

• Demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Is proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); NetSuite experience is a plus

• Has a valid driver’s license and can operate a forklift

• Is flexible and open to travel or adjusted hours as needed

What you'll do:

• Manage daily operations across warehouse, delivery, and shipping

• Supervise 20–40 direct reports, handling hiring, training, and performance

• Maintain facility appearance and enforce safety standards

• Support profit goals and monitor operational performance

• Oversee inventory control, returns, and obsolete stock

• Lead local customer service and resolve escalated issues

• Collaborate cross-functionally for operational efficiency

• Report monthly performance to VP of Operations

• Conduct team training and support vendor negotiations

• Step in as needed for shipping/receiving, counter sales, or deliveries

• Foster a strong team culture and focus on customer satisfaction
