Job Title: Packaging Sales Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $150k + commission

About the job:

The Packaging Sales Engineer is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading the full sales process for packaging solutions, from prospecting and quoting to post-sale support.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a background in Packaging Engineering

• Brings 3–10 years of packaging sales experience, including at least 2 years of direct-to-client field sales

• Understands industrial packaging design, materials, and post-sales service

• Is trained in consultative/value-based selling with a proven sales track record

• Can quickly grow existing accounts and generate new business

• Is proficient in MS Office, CRM platforms, and quoting tools

• Communicates effectively in both writing and speech

• Brings a competitive, collaborative, and self-starting mindset

What you’ll do:

• Lead all stages of the sales cycle for direct client engagements

• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, customer service, marketing, etc.)

• Provide technical input on packaging design and materials

• Support quoting, prototyping, and client presentations

• Manage client relationships to drive repeat business and retention

• Attend meetings and deliver persuasive, professional sales pitches

• Track activities and results in CRM and reporting tools
