Assembler (Day & Swing)

Job Title: Assembler (Day and Swing)
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay: $20-$23/hr

About the job:
As an Assembler 1, you'll work on basic assembly tasks in a clean, safe environment. This role includes following instructions, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a team that supports both day and swing shifts. No prior experience is required, making this a great entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assembly.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred)

• Has no prior experience required but is eager to learn

• Can operate/run a single process or machine with minimal assistance

• Understands basic safety and quality best practices of machinery and equipment

• Is familiar with hand tools and basic materials like metals and plastics

• Has a basic knowledge of inspection processes or instruments

• Is proficient in basic math and can follow verbal and written instructions

• Has basic computer skills

• Is flexible to commit to variable schedules and can arrive promptly for shifts

• Is willing to be cross-trained in other departments and work in different areas as needed

What you'll do:

• Read and follow written and verbal instructions

• Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures

• Notify leadership of issues, malfunctions, or defective parts

• Maintain quality standards

• Perform repetitive tasks in a clean and safe environment

• Practice 6S at all times

• Keep records of production quantities and time

• Assemble basic assemblies while meeting cycle time requirements

• Inventory parts and tools used in the assembly process

• Assess the quality of parts and materials used in production

• Test finished products for defects and pack finished products for shipment

• Perform part marking as required

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

• Follow quality standards and established safety procedures in all work performed
