About the job:
This full-time role focuses on board-level and system-level design for industrial automation products. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and validation of complex electrical systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring high-performance products from concept to production.

 

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Brings 7+ years of hands-on experience in circuit and system-level electronics development

  • Is skilled in mixed-signal, embedded, and power circuit design

  • Is proficient in Altium and/or OrCAD for schematic capture and PCB layout

  • Understands protocols like SPI, I2C, RS-485, Ethernet, and CAN

  • Has experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers)

  • Can consider EMC/ESD, thermal, and environmental constraints in design

  • Communicates clearly, solves problems effectively, and pays attention to detail

 

What you'll do:

  • Design and develop electrical circuits and systems for industrial control applications

  • Create robust schematics and PCB layouts, considering DfX and best practices

  • Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and validate designs in a hands-on lab environment

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and external partners

  • Support field and production troubleshooting and failure analysis

  • Document requirements, design specs, test plans, and change orders

  • Participate in roadmap planning, design reviews, and mentor junior engineers

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with semiconductor tools or regulated industries

  • Background in temperature control, motion control, or safety control systems

  • Experience with simulation tools (Spice, Hyperlynx), and protocols like EtherCAT

  • Familiarity with FPGA development (Verilog/VHDL) and embedded software (C/C++, Python)

  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as CE, UL, SEMI, and IEC

  • Understanding of systems engineering principles
