Job Title: Journeyman Electromechanical Technician
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay: $25-$30/hr

About the job:

The Journeyman Electromechanical Technician will diagnose, maintain, and repair complex electromechanical systems, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to train junior technicians.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has an associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience

• Has 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electromechanical systems

• Is proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, including PLCs, robotics, and control systems

• Has experience creating clear work instructions and training materials

• Is familiar with CAD software and diagnostic tools (preferred)

• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure

• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and collaboration

What you'll do:

• Diagnose and resolve issues with electromechanical systems using tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes

• Install and configure electromechanical systems according to schematics and specifications

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, documenting all findings and actions taken

• Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures

• Train junior technicians on troubleshooting techniques and best practices

• Conduct system tests to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards

• Maintain accurate device history records in accordance with ISO 13485

• Collaborate with engineers to address design for manufacturability and provide troubleshooting insights

• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
