Job Title: Operator II
Location: Morgan Hill, CA
Pay: $24-$32/hr
About the job:
As an Operator II, you will be responsible for assembling products with precision and accuracy using soldering irons, microscopes, and various small hand tools. You will follow detailed assembly drawings and instructions while maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, safe work area. This role requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under a microscope.
We're looking for someone who:

Has a High School Diploma or GED (some college is preferred)

Is experienced in assembly with proven ability to use small hand tools and soldering irons

Possesses high-level attention to detail and accuracy
-
Can work eight (8) hours under a microscope with excellent eye/hand coordination

Understands manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, safety management, and controls

Is capable of developing speed and accuracy in all aspects of the role

May perform On-the-Job training as needed
What you'll do:

Assemble products using soldering irons, microscopes, and various small hand tools

Follow assembly drawings and instructions with precision

Apply epoxy for staking using dispensers
-
Perform mechanical assembly using small power tools
-
Solder seal stainless steel housings and solder diodes
-
Build M1’s (SMT and connectorized) with proficiency
-
Maintain equipment in good working condition
-
Keep a clean and safe work area
-
Report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts
