About the job:

The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage one or more projects within the company’s Enterprise Project Portfolio. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing resources, schedules, budgets, and ensuring adherence to project governance and control standards. The Senior Project Manager will identify and mitigate project risks while improving project delivery processes.

 

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or Computer Science.

  • Has a Project Management Certificate (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar).

  • Holds an Agile Certification (CSM, ACP, or similar).

  • Has 5+ years of experience managing programs or projects of at least $2M annually, preferably within the insurance industry.

  • Possesses advanced knowledge of Project Management/Leadership and experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

 

 

What you'll do:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.

  • Lead and facilitate project governance, managing project risks, changes, and dependencies.

  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to define project scope and staffing needs.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resources.

  • Communicate project progress and expectations to team members and stakeholders.

  • Ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, and timelines while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

  • Manage project performance, leveraging data analysis to track key project metrics.

  • Train and mentor project managers on best practices and process improvements.

  • Support strategic planning by documenting project effort, cost, and value.
