Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm
About the job:
As a Hardware Engineer Technician III, you will be responsible for building and assembling prototype network and server racks, performing complex cabling, and supporting system integration. This role requires strong technical expertise and collaboration with engineering and quality teams to execute seamless prototype builds that meet customer specifications.
We're looking for someone who:

Has an Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Brings 3+ years of experience as a hardware technician, with expertise in building and cabling server/network racks

Understands prototype build processes, cabling techniques, and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles

Is proficient in interpreting engineering schematics, blueprints, and build instructions

Communicates effectively and works well in a team setting

Pays strong attention to detail and demonstrates proactive problem-solving skills

Can lift and move heavy equipment as required (up to 50 lbs)
What you'll do:

Assemble prototype network and server racks following engineering specifications

Perform complex cabling, ensuring quality and organized layout

Support prototype builds for TRI and FAI, adhering to standards for compliance and serviceability

Identify and address DFM and serviceability issues during builds

Document processes and improvements for future builds
