Are you an experienced and driven leader with a passion for optimizing business operations and empowering teams to reach their highest potential? We're looking for an Operations Manager who will not only manage but elevate our operations to the next level. If you're ready to make an impact in a company dedicated to excellence, integrity, and outstanding customer service, then we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Brand Stewardship: Represent and exemplify the company’s mission and values in all your interactions, helping to grow and protect the reputation we’ve worked hard to build.

  • Team Building & Leadership: Lead by example to build trust within your team and with partners and customers. Create a high-performing culture that's passionate about delivering exceptional results and customer service.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with multiple departments to drive continuous improvement, create organizational strategies, and ensure that all projects are executed profitably and smoothly. You’ll be the key link between teams, ensuring seamless communication and top-tier execution.

  • Production Management: Collaborate with the Production Manager on scheduling and capacity planning for a team of Project Managers and field crew. Manage the entire production process, from pre-construction to project completion, and hit productivity goals (we’re talking about a minimum of seven million annually).

  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee the budget, maintain strict adherence to cost and safety standards, and ensure projects are executed within scope. You'll also track performance metrics, monitor progress, and ensure profitability at every turn.

  • Policy & Procedure Oversight: Ensure that operating procedures and company policies are in place, up to date, and followed across the board. You’ll also play a key role in reviewing and updating policies annually.

  • Client & Partner Relations: Work alongside project managers to audit all aspects of a project (labor, trade partners, material expenses, etc.) while maintaining strong, productive relationships with key trade partners.

  • Conflict Resolution: Handle escalated complaints, settle disputes, and resolve any grievances with customers, employees, or partners, ensuring everyone stays focused on the bigger picture.

  • Resource Management: Oversee fleet management, IT systems, and facility needs. Ensure everything runs smoothly so the team can focus on what they do best.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Construction Management, Operations).

Experience & Expertise:

    • Extensive knowledge of business operations, management processes, and construction methods.

    • Deep understanding of OSHA compliance, safety standards, and legal requirements.

    • Strong background in construction finance, job costing, and performance metrics.

    • Proven ability to build relationships and motivate diverse teams.

Skills:

    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt to shifting demands.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with Buildertrend, Smartsheets, or similar project management software is a plus.

Other Qualities:

    • Strong work ethic, accountability, and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

    • Open to teamwork while holding team members accountable and ensuring high standards of performance.
