Forklift Operator

We're looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our client in Ripon in a fast-paced food production environment. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently move, stack, and retrieve raw materials and finished products within our warehouse and production facility. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and products are handled with care.

Position – Forklift operator

Job Location – Ripon, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) –  1st shift – 12 hour shift

Starting Pay – $19 to $21 per hour

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, stack pallets, and transport materials.
• Perform routine pre-operational checks on the forklift to ensure it's in safe working condition.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning products and documenting movements.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, particularly those related to food safety and hygiene.
• Assist with other general warehouse and production duties as needed.

Qualifications 

• Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a food production or manufacturing setting.
• Valid forklift certification is a must.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
