SEEK is recruiting for a motivated and detail oriented hand grinder to join our expanding south Oshkosh manufacturing client. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn a skilled trade and contribute to a high-quality production environment. Great hours!
Position – Grinder
Job Location – Oshkosh, WI
Starting Date – ASAP
Employment Term – Temp to hire
Employment Type – Full time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift
Starting Pay – $17.50 per hour
Required Experience – prior fabrication experience is helpful
Responsibilities
- Use hand grinders and other tools to shape, smooth, and finish metal parts.
- Inspect your work to ensure it meets our quality standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- A quick learner with a strong work ethic.
- Someone who pays close attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- The ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math and measurement skills are a plus.
- Must be able to use hand grinders and other power tools
