Order Picker - Forklift

Position: Order Picker 

Shift: 2^nd Shift, 3pm to 11:30pm

Located: Lakeville, MN

Pay: $22.00 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Order Picker to join our 2nd shift operations in a food manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and accurate handling of materials and finished goods while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review scheduled receipts and shipments daily
• Ensure accurate receipt of materials, including raw, packaging, and co-pack products
• Verify outgoing shipments match the bill of lading
• Complete required paperwork and forms for material receipts; enter data into ERP system
• Conduct quality checks on materials (color, moisture)
• Stage outgoing shipments and unload/store finished goods
• Coordinate with the Logistics team for timely deliveries
• Actively participate in the company’s safety program (AWAIR), including meetings and training sessions
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment compliant with all regulatory and company standards
• Adhere to Food Safety and Quality objectives, including compliance with FDA and Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1 plus years of experience in a food manufacturing or FDA-regulated industry
• Must have forklift experience
• Proficiency in using ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Ability to work around moving machinery
• Physical requirements:
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend 
  • Ability to squat/crouch and push/pull 
  • Ability to twist, grasp, and turn
