Are you organized, reliable, and looking for a vital role in a fast-paced environment? We're hiring a dedicated Material Handler to join our clients growing shop in Neenah. If you're detail-oriented, and enjoy keeping things moving, we want you on our team.


Position – Material handler

Job Location – Neenah, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) –  1st shift

Starting Pay – $18 to $20/hr

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience


As a Material Handler, you'll be the backbone of the operation, ensuring that materials flow smoothly through our shop. You'll play a crucial role in getting raw materials to the production lines and finished products out the door efficiently and safely.


Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming raw materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
  • Safely store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Accurately pull and stage materials for various fabrication processes based on production schedules.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
  • Load finished products onto trucks for outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts and assisting with inventory management.
  • Assist with packaging and crating of finished goods as needed.
  • Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe.


Qualifications 

  • Previous experience as a Material Handler, preferably in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting.
  • Forklift certification and demonstrated safe operating practices are a strong plus.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders and basic inventory documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing materials and inventory.
