POSITION – Financial Analyst (onsite)
JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Direct Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift
STARTING PAY – $70,000-$80,000 DOE
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 4+ years of overall Financial experience working as an Analyst is required, accounting experience is a plus (This is not an accounting role). Preference given to those with manufacturing backgrounds.
REQUIRED EDUCATION - Advanced degree in a relevant field
As a Financial Analyst, you’ll perform quantitative analysis to support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial projects. Oversees financial planning and analysis activities for the manufacturing organization. Supports daily and month-end accounting tasks to maintain proper segregation of duties and enhance internal controls.
Responsibilities

Coordinate all financial data required for the preparation of consolidated financial statements

Prepare and manage internal and external financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to recommend improvements to financial procedures, plans, and controls

Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting activities, and cost accounting variance analysis

Support daily and month-end accounting functions alongside the Staff Accountant to distribute workload and ensure proper segregation of duties per audit and internal control standards

Report on current and projected financial performance and develop financial models to support strategic decision-making

Conduct margin analysis (standard vs. actual) and perform fixed asset audits with supporting justifications

Evaluate historical and current financial performance against budgeted targets and create models to help management assess the financial implications of decisions

Recommend financial strategies to help achieve the organization’s long-term goals

Analyze production cost variances and provide actionable recommendations for cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required

Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and finance, with strong preference for a background in manufacturing

Consistent, reliable attendance is essential for this role
