POSITION – CNC Machinist III

JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (6am-4:30pm, Mon-Thurs)

STARTING PAY – $25-$29.00/hour + (Depending on Experience)

EDUCATION– High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2-year technical certification or equivalent experience

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 2 years of experience working as a Machinist, including setups

 

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist III to play a vital role in our manufacturing team. In this position, you will operate, program, and maintain CNC machinery, applying advanced expertise in complex setups, programming, troubleshooting, and quality assurance. Your technical proficiency will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our production processes.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC programs to meet specific component designs and production goals; strong knowledge of G-code and CAM software is required

  • Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts, monitoring performance and making real-time adjustments to ensure optimal quality and efficiency

  • Perform detailed quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy

  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on CNC equipment, diagnosing issues and applying corrective actions to minimize downtime

  • Work collaboratively with CNC programmers, engineers, and production staff to improve machining processes, reduce cycle times, and boost productivity

  • Manage tool changes, offsets, and monitor tool life to maintain consistent output and part quality

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including part counts, machine operation logs, and quality control records

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with an emphasis on complex machining operations

  • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

  • Proficient in CNC programming using G-code and CAM software

  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of CNC machines and control systems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for diagnosing and resolving machining issues

  • High attention to detail with a focus on delivering precision and quality

  • Thorough understanding of workplace safety practices and commitment to a safe work environment

  • Effective communicator with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
