POSITION – CNC Machinist III
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (6am-4:30pm, Mon-Thurs)
STARTING PAY – $25-$29.00/hour + (Depending on Experience)

EDUCATION– High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2-year technical certification or equivalent experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 2 years of experience working as a Machinist, including setups
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist III to play a vital role in our manufacturing team. In this position, you will operate, program, and maintain CNC machinery, applying advanced expertise in complex setups, programming, troubleshooting, and quality assurance. Your technical proficiency will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our production processes.
Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code and CAM software to meet production needs

Operate CNC machines, monitoring processes and making real-time adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency

Perform detailed quality inspections with precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on CNC equipment; troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to reduce downtime

Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and production teams to improve machining processes and reduce cycle times

Manage tool changes, offsets, and monitor tool life to maintain consistent machining quality

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Accurately record production data including part counts, machine logs, and quality control information
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist

Consistently produce high-quality parts that meet specified tolerances and technical requirements

Achieve production targets by meeting expected output levels with efficiency and accuracy

Understand and follow machining processes, including the flow and handling of finished components

Utilize computer systems and software as required for machine operation and documentation

Accurately use precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and quality

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

Complete all required documentation and production paperwork with accuracy and timeliness

Operate hand tools, machines, and equipment proficiently with minimal supervision

Collaborate effectively as a contributing member of a team to support overall production goals

Perform well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to adapt quickly

Demonstrate initiative by identifying and completing tasks without direct supervision

Exhibit reliability through strong attendance and punctuality
