We are currently hiring Frontline Machine Operators for a temporary position in Bloomer. In this role, you will assist with stamping and bending metal components used in products like fire extinguisher cabinets and other light gauge metal enclosures.
 
POSITION – Frontline Machine Operator
JOB LOCATION – Bloomer, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – July 14, Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temporary – through Mid-August
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (6:00am–4:30pm, Mon–Thurs)
STARTING PAY – $20 per hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – No prior experience required; training provided but previous manufacturing experience is preferred
 
The Machine Operator will support production by operating stamping machinery that forms light-gauge metal into finished parts. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
 
Responsibilities:

• Operate stamping machine using 2-hand/2-button control system

• Load raw metal materials into machine

• Remove completed parts and inspect for quality

• Perform pre-operating inspections of machines

• Package parts according to customer specifications

• Identify and report quality issues to Area Lead

• Assist with cleanup and stocking packaging materials

• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, ankle high steel/composite toe boots )

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently after training

• Comfortable working on your feet for entire shift

• Ability to lift, move, and handle light-gauge metal components

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Must comply with dress code (no loose or baggy clothing, no cut-off shirts)
