POSITION – Assembly Operator II
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm) OT is dependent on business needs.
STARTING PAY – $17-19/hr or more (Depends on Experience)

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Minimum 2 years previous work in a manufacturing setting or as an Assembly Operator is desired, prefer work in injection molding or other mechanical assembly
As an Assembly Operator you will assemble work-in-progress parts into finished products using various methods such as sonic welding, heat staking, and gluing.
Responsibilities

Assemble parts and components to create finished products using standardized work instructions and diagrams

Conduct visual and functional inspections to verify products meet quality standards and specifications

Identify and report defects or process issues, collaborating with the team to implement solutions

Operate assembly machinery and tools safely and efficiently

Maintain accurate production and quality records, including checklists and reports
-
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and coworkers
-
Aim to meet or exceed production goals while minimizing downtime

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support smooth workflow and productivity

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain optimal performance
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assembly Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting

Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions

Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity

Basic understanding of machine operation and routine maintenance

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer proficiency for data entry and documentation

Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and protocols
