We’re looking for a dynamic Senior HR Generalist to join our team and drive impactful HR initiatives at our manufacturing facility. If you’re passionate about creating a positive work environment, managing full-scope HR functions, and supporting both employee growth and safety, this role is for you!


Position – Senior HR Specialist

Job Location – Eau Claire County

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) –  Days (8:00am – 5:00pm, Mon-Fri)

Starting Pay – $75,000 - $90,000k/year

Required Education – Bachelor's degree or HR certification is preferred.

Required Experience – 4+ years of HR experience required (manufacturing experience preferred).

We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department at a manufacturing facility. As the sole HR representative on-site, this position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a full-scope HR role, handling everything from recruitment to employee relations and safety programs.

Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of employee relations, including addressing concerns, overseeing performance management, and providing guidance on disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and policy violations.

- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending offers.

- Lead and facilitate employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring smooth integration into the workplace.

- Administer leave of absence programs like FMLA, personal leave, and disability claims, handling all associated paperwork and communication.

- Support the plant’s safety initiatives by managing safety policies and programs, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with workers' comp and OSHA reporting requirements.

- Conduct post-accident investigations, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with employment laws such as ADA, harassment, discrimination, and FLSA, providing training, communication, and necessary policy updates to staff.

- Manage all aspects of employee benefits and payroll data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the system.

- Lead investigations into employee misconduct, including harassment and discrimination, ensuring thorough and fair processes.


Qualifications 

- 4+ years of HR experience required (manufacturing experience preferred).

- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree or HR certification is preferred.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
