Position – Brake Press

Job Location – Oakdale MN

Starting Date - Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time,

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (8am – 5pm)

Starting Pay – $25hr-$31

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – 1 year Brake Press set up


Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on Ermaksan press brake with Air Bending Technology.
  • Prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations. This includes custom punch/die change out in combination with required tooling.
  • Programming using all features of the press brake software.
  • Read and understand shop drawings and translate flat pattern sheet metal parts into fully formed parts.
  • Ensure production schedule follow through, as allocated by the Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Perform operator level maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations.
  • Facilitate work-order paper flow in accordance with Company Standards.
  • Help with training of new hires on machine functions and Company Processes.
  • Check parts to ensure they are within tolerance and Company Standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and work closely with Manufacturing Engineer and other shop lead personnel to reduce cost and waste
  • Any other duties assigned by management.


Qualifications


Required

  • Minimum one year of related press brake experience. 
  • High School, GED, or equivalent diploma or education completed. 

Preferred 

  • One year working inside a custom fabrication shop.
