Our partner in Osceola is searching for an experienced Maintenance Technicians to join their team on either 1st or 2nd shift.


POSITION – Maintenance Technician

JOB LOCATION – Osceola, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (Mon-Thurs, 5am-3pm), 2nd Shift, (Mon-Thurs, 3pm-1am)

STARTING PAY $19.00-$30.00/hr DOE + $1.50/hr shift premium

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1+ years of maintenance experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.


Maintenance mechanics fabricate, install, dismantle, or move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings. They keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting diagnosis of a variety of mechanical/electrical equipment for both machine and building applications.

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on schedule with appropriate record keeping. 

Work closely with all manufacturing and management personnel.

Understand and appropriately use OSHA lock out / tag out equipment.

Determine the correct method and sequence of operation, selection or materials to be used, and work directly over other personnel. 

Participate in process improvement. 

Follows all safety procedures and provides the guidance and enforcement of safety procedures and practices.

Assists higher-level technicians.
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and specialized training is a bonus

Previous experience or prior completion of a formal apprenticeship program

1+ years of maintenance experience required- Preferably in a manufacturing environment. 
Forklift and Crane training required.

Must be self-motivated
Able to work with little to no supervision
