Accounts Payable Associate

We are currently hiring for Accounts Payable Associate in Schaumburg, IL

What will you do as an Accounts Payable Associate? 

• Set up new vendors, maintain accurate records and manage filing
• Processing invoicing (PO & non-PO) and application of payments in a timely fashion
• Purchase order management in MVP system, including matching invoices to packing slips and POs
• Review and reconcile monthly vendor statements
• Process weekly check runs and monthly commission payments
• Process expense reports
• Post transactions for AP/AR, cash receipts, and disbursements to general ledger
• Research, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies with Purchasing and Merchandising Departments

Who qualifies for the Accounts Payable Associate position? 

• 2 – 4 years of Accounts Payable experience, including high volume data entry in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with ERP or MVP systems to process vendor invoicing
• Proficient in Concur for expense management and reporting and Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and customers

What hours will the Accounts Payable Associate work? 

• Monday – Friday, 8:30a – 4:30p
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Temp to Hire

How much will you earn as an Accounts Payable Associate? 

• Starting pay is $24/hour
