We are currently hiring for a Lead Technician in West Chicago, IL.
What will you do as a Lead Technician?
- Technician/Mechanic skills evaluation and development
- Preventive Maintenance Program development and compliance
- Planning and scheduling of Maintenance efforts by production demands
- Technical support – troubleshooting unscheduled interruptions in production
- Process improvements
- Identify/Order repair parts
- Budget compliance
- Performing machine tear-downs and rebuilds
- Installing, verifying, and validating all new equipment
Who qualifies for the Lead Technician position?
- 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic/technician in manufacturing required
- Previous experience as a lead or supervisor required
- Experience within the food industry preferred
- Demonstrate intermediate mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Previous experience and knowledge are required in the following areas: electrical, mechanical, machine elements, pipe fitting, instrumentation, hydraulics/ pneumatics, PLC, and shop safety
What hours will the Lead Technician work?
- 1st Shift
- Full-time | 40 hours+
- Monday 4 AM - 2 PM & Tuesday - Thursday 5 AM - 2 PM
How much will you earn as a Lead Technician?
- $30 - $37/ hour
