Mortgage Loan Processor
LOCATIONS: Oak Park, Chicago, Rosemont, Gurnee
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Process new loan-order credit/flood/title/ appraisals/TRV.

Work with customer to obtain any required missing information.

Enter new opportunities in baker Hill system, scan file to credit administration for their analysis.

Request and review upon receipt: LLC docs, trust agreements, payoff letters, releases.

Verify business entity is in good standing with IL Secretary of State Website.

Forward LLC or corporate or trust documents to attorney for review.

Review and clear title commitments.

Initial review of loan presentations.

Contact insurance agents for evidence of insurance naming organization as mortgage/loss payee, to include loss of business income, verify coverage amounts, loan number on policy, correct address listed.

Prepare invoices for Accounts Payable Department for attorney fees, EPA fees (make 2 copies; pone for our loan file and one for servicing department to help balance general ledgers).

Work with the documentation/closer on file handoff to ensure the file is in good order.

Review and sign off on release deeds.

Review final title policies.

Complete all required BAI Compliance Training
Knowledge/Abilities/Experience and Training Required:
-
High School graduate or equivalent.
-
General office and customer service skills.
-
Experience in a sales environment preferred.

Proficient typing and other secretarial and clerical skills.

Good interpersonal and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Experience with BakerHill and Laser Pro a plus.

Ability to work with personnel from sales, credit and closing.

High Level of professionalism required.

Demonstrated ability to handle difficult and sensitive business situations.

Solid Analytical, creative and problem-solving abilities.

Minimum of 2 years recent loan processing experience.
Compensation: $45,000 to $55,000 plus Bonus and Benefits
