Finance Advisor I

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Salem Staffing’s North Suburban Staffing Center is looking for a highly professional Finance Advisors for temp-to-hire positions at our client’s office located in Schaumburg, IL.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

• Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Contact Management systems

DAY-TO-DAY:

• Explains direct and indirect school costs though simplified budget presentations

• Service the needs of newly enrolled students on their financial options per company guidelines

• Provides a generic overview of the Financial Aid programs available to qualifying students

• Meets with applicants to gather information for Financial Aid to complete processing

• Guide students and families through the paperwork completion phases for the Financial Aid process

• Uphold Title IV, state, military, VA and institutional knowledge and compliance

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
