We are seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician I to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of equipment. You’ll collaborate closely with the Production and Machine Operation teams to ensure our facility runs efficiently and safely.


Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day Operations: Perform routine and emergency maintenance to keep production equipment operating at peak efficiency.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize equipment downtime.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Implement and execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and prevent breakdowns.

  • Equipment Repair: Repair and maintain equipment such as HVAC systems, conveyor belts, pumps, and other facility machinery.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and maintenance advice to the production team.

  • Documentation: Accurately record all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and scheduled tasks.

  • Team Collaboration: Partner with other departments to ensure seamless operations and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment at all times.

  • Inventory Management: Help track and manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing, agricultural, or food production environment.

  • Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Proven experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment.

  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols.

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and building electrical systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus.
