We are seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician I to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of equipment. You’ll collaborate closely with the Production and Machine Operation teams to ensure our facility runs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Operations: Perform routine and emergency maintenance to keep production equipment operating at peak efficiency.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize equipment downtime.
Preventive Maintenance: Implement and execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and prevent breakdowns.
Equipment Repair: Repair and maintain equipment such as HVAC systems, conveyor belts, pumps, and other facility machinery.
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and maintenance advice to the production team.
Documentation: Accurately record all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and scheduled tasks.
Team Collaboration: Partner with other departments to ensure seamless operations and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
Inventory Management: Help track and manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing, agricultural, or food production environment.
Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proven experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and building electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus.
