RPM Staffing is seeking an experienced Label Creator in McKinney, Texas!
The well qualified candidate will be responsible for designing, generating, and applying accurate and compliant labels for fiber optic cable assemblies in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will ensures that all labeling meets industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements. The Label Creator works closely with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to maintain traceability and compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and generate labels for fiber optic cable assemblies using labeling software
Ensure labels include required information such as part numbers, serial numbers, barcodes, customer specifications, and compliance details.
Customize label formats to meet specific customer or industry requirements.
Print and apply labels to fiber optic cables, connectors, and assemblies with precision and accuracy.
Verify label accuracy and legibility before application to ensure traceability and compliance.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of labeled products to meet production schedules.
Conduct regular inspections of labels to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
Maintain accurate records of label designs and production data for traceability purposes.
Address and resolve labeling discrepancies or errors in collaboration with the quality assurance team.
Manage label stock inventory, including ordering supplies such as label materials, ribbons, and printers as needed.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of label printers and related equipment.
Ensure proper storage and handling of labeling materials to prevent damage or waste.
