RPM Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician in McKinney, Texas!
This position requires assembling products by adding casings, coordinating with the testing area, completing final assembly after successful testing, and preparing products for Quality Control (QC) inspection and final testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble products by accurately attaching casings according to specifications.
Transfer assembled products to the testing area for quality and performance evaluation.
Retrieve products that pass testing and complete final assembly processes.
Ensure products are prepared and sent to Quality Control for final inspection and testing.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in fiber optic assembly or manufacturing is required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
Basic understanding of quality control processes.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Work Environment: Full-time position in a manufacturing or production facility. May require occasional overtime to meet production demands.
