Job Responsibilities:
- Clean surfaces prior to layering paint
- Maintain technical equipment and ensure it is in working order
- Use a wide array of painting tools including brushes, airbrushes, and rollers
- Safely dispose of chemical waste
- Ensure high safety standards are met
- Utilize different painting techniques based on surface type
- Use special safety equipment such as painting goggles
- Measure paint viscosity and thickness using appropriate tools
- Remove previous paint surfaces using masking or chemical rinse
- Paint small items and perform touch-ups
- Ensure proper ventilation after paint application
- Utilize electroplating equipment to coat metal
- Polish metallic surfaces
- Paint over wood and plastic surfaces
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience painting a variety of surface types
- Proficiency with technical machinery
- Physical strength to operate machinery
- Attention to detail and diligence
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Good organizational skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
