Production Associate – 3rd Shift Warehouse
Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Training required on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) before transitioning to 3rd shift
Pay: $15.50/hr during training | $16.50/hr once on 3rd shift
Join RPM Staffing as a Production Associate and play a key role in maintaining the quality and packaging of extruded products. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are committed to safety, precision, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate manual and automatic reelers
- Monitor print quality, footage markings, and product striping
- Perform quality checks and ensure neat wrapping on reels
- Cut, tie-off, and cap conduit; paint and stencil wood reels as needed
- Grind and stack line scrap
- Assist Line Operators with start-ups and reel changes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines
- Complete inventory paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic English reading and writing skills
- Ability to perform simple math and take measurements
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
- Climb ladders, detect product defects, and sense temperature changes
- Drive nails into reel flanges while holding conduit
- Navigate tight spaces and remain on foot for up to 12 hours
- Visually inspect product color, stripe, and print quality
