We’re hiring a motivated individual to join our team as a Waste Water Operator Trainee—a role designed to build your skills and advance your career in municipal water systems.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $14.75/hour
Location: Powderly, Texas
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate, monitor, and control activities at the Water Treatment Facilities
- Assist with pump and valve repairs
- Perform building and preventative maintenance
- Maintain inventory and update written logs
- Operate equipment including tractors, mowers, forklifts, and backhoes
- Support compliance with EPA, Texas Health Department, TCEQ, and City policies
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Texas or Oklahoma Driver’s License
- Valid Operator’s License (required)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Reliability and willingness to learn
