RPM Staffing is hiring PET/CT Technologists in Fort Worth, Texas!
The qualified candidate will play a vital part of the overall patient experience delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic PET imaging procedures, including injection of radiopharmaceuticals and/or IV contrast, administration of oral contrast, protocol setup, patient positioning, image reconstruction, filming, network image transfers, and archiving.
Assist in procedure scheduling and front office functions to ensure smooth workflow and support the development of educational materials. Adhere to prescribed safety standards to protect patients and staff.
Conduct daily quality control measures to monitor scanner performance and take appropriate action when necessary.
Manage patient data and films, including printing, archiving, retrieval, network data transfers, and tracking loaned or requested films. Understand contraindications for IV contrast administration, recognize adverse reactions, and follow proper protocols in case of adverse events.
Maintain confidentiality of all protected health information for patients and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from an American Medical Association-accredited program, with PET/CT certification.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in nuclear medicine.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear certification, and state licensure where applicable.
Knowledge and experience with patient scheduling and billing systems.
Experience
General knowledge of patient scheduling and billing systems.
Experience leading others in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience interacting with diverse individuals at all levels.
Previous PET experience required.
