Industrial Manufacturing Warehouse Quality Control

RPM Staffing is looking for a Quality Inspector for an industrial manufacturing warehouse in Bonham, TX!

Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm (Some overtime may be required from 5am-5pm and on some Saturdays)

Pay: $18-22/hr DOE

Job Description: 

A Quality Inspector, or QA Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests, and identifying defects that would affect the final product.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
• Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
• Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.

Requirements:

• Possesses a positive attitude with a “Lead by Example” work ethic.
• Must be able to spend most of the day standing and or moving around the shop as required.
• Perform other tasks within reasonable exertion limits to assist other shop personnel in special circumstances.
• Be conscious of supporting and adding value to all business processes.
• Be reactive in line with re-prioritizaiton as and when required.
• Understand the needs of both our external and internal customers while maintaining company values.
• Have minimum 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Be able to read blueprints
• Familiarity with reading micrometers, calipers, and gauges. 
• Previous experience with metal manufacturing a plus
