Mig Welder

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (the incumbent may be asked to perform any combination of the following functions, which are subject to change as deemed by the employer at any time to adapt to company needs):

• Load and unload punching presses.
• Operate punching presses.
• Lifting of up to 50lbs.
• Basic MIG welding in the flat and horizontal positions.
• Operate fork truck to load and unload trucks
• Operate fork truck to place and remove goods from racking
• Complete minor production reporting paperwork with the support of the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school or GED level education is required as a minimum.
• Minimum one (1) year of MIG welding experience.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift to load and unload goods from trucks.
• Ability to operate a forklift to place and retrieve goods from warehouse racking systems.
• Fluent in the English language, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently while following standard procedures.

Starting pay: $18.00 Hr.
