Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-focused Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role involves assembling components into finished or semi-finished products, interpreting blueprints, and utilizing a range of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, safety-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Assemble various parts into semi-finished or finished items according to specifications
  • Use hand grinders, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, calipers, scales, tape measures, and other electric or air-operated tools
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, bills of materials, and inspection documents
  • Perform basic math calculations and measurements accurately
  • Correctly install components such as bolts, head locks, washers, and nuts per blueprint instructions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Follow written and verbal work instructions, standards, and quality work instructions (QWIs) with consistency and safety


Advanced Responsibilities

  • Prepare castings and assemble railroad track frog unit components
  • Perform welding and operate as a Level and Line Bender and/or Finish Grinder
